SPEAKING MORE THAN ONE LANGUAGE IS A GREAT ADVANTAGE

  In the era of globalisation , everything has changed. Every person wants to be better. He or she will do anything to make their life better. One of the improvements done to make life better is to learn new languages. We know that there are many languages in the world such as English, Spanish, Chinese and French. We should be familiar with them as they give advantages to us in our lives. However, some people refuse to speak in other languages as they are ashamed when their pronounciation is not accurate at all. Surprisingly, it is actually much easier to learn or speak in other languages if we take away our sense of embarrasment.

  Speaking more than one language enables us to communicate with people from foreign countries and of different races. With this, the spirit of unity will be nurtured. It also enhances the relationship among people. We can also communicate with people who do not know how to speak the international language.

  Besides that, speaking more than one language helps us to recongnise the differences between people. When we know how to speak in other languages, we can go and travel to other countries. We will understand the cultures of other people more deeply when we visit them. For example, we can broaden our horizons on how advanced has the country developed.

  Furthermore, we can make new friends from different countries. Our interpersonal relationship can be improved when we have many friends. We can improve our social circle and communication skills too. When we are active in our social life, we can get the opportunity for employment easily.

  To conclude, speaking more than one language brings a lot of benefits to us. Speaking more than one language does not only enhance the relationship among people, but also helps us to recognise differences between people. We can learn other language from centres that teach foreign language. If foreign language bring many advantages to us , why are we still hesitant to learn more? Do not hesitate! We have to take action to learn languages today.
