A very good morning to the principal, teachers and fellow students. In conjunction with the Cleanliness Campaign, I am going to speak on the importance of keeping our toilets clean and practising good habits when using toilets.
I am sure that many of you found our toilet in a poor condition. People who use them do not bother to flush the toilets. However, if we all practise good habits, we can slowly change this situation. Always remember to flush the toilet after using it. Check that the toilet is left in a clean condition for the next person to use it. Be considerate.
Do not throw rubbish on the floor or into the toilet bowl. Use the bins provided in the toilets. Keep the sinks in the toilet clean. Do not let food and other things clog the sink.
Remember to practise good habits when you are using the toilet. We use our hands to eat and touch food. Sometimes, we rub our eyes. So, make sure you wash your hands with soap after using the toilet. Otherwise, bacteria will remain on your hands. This is how disease are spread. Do not split on the flooe as well.
When using the toilet, do not stand on the toilet bowl or seat. The bowl may break under your weight and the sharp edges may cut you. You will also dirty the toilet seat.
These are some basic rules you should follow when you use the toilet. As responsible citizens, we should maintain a clean image of our country. Keeping our toilets clean us a must.
Thank you.
